[Story]
One of the Moon sisters, Mochizuki, was cast down to Earth after angering the Emperor of Heaven by developing a human heart. One day, an old bamboo cutter discovered Mochizuki in the form of a baby inside one of the bamboo stalks. On Earth, Mochizuki is given the name Kaguya. Kaguya experiences love for the first time and comes to cherish her life among humans. However, her feelings begin to create tension and worry among her moon sisters who care deeply for her. As time passes, the moment of her return to the moon draws ever closer...
